"For Christ is not entered into holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us." Hebrews 9:24 (KJV)

The understanding of Christ’s work in the heavenly sanctuary is vital for those who seek to follow God fully. It is essential to comprehend the role and mission of our great High Priest who intercedes on our behalf.

The intercession of Christ in the heavenly sanctuary is as crucial to the plan of redemption as His sacrifice on the cross. His death began this work, and His ascension to heaven ensures its continuation and completion. By faith, we are called to enter beyond the veil, into the Most Holy Place, where our Forerunner has gone before us (Hebrews 6:19-20 KJV). Within that sacred space, the radiance of Calvary illuminates the depths of God’s redemptive plan. The salvation of humanity required a sacrifice of infinite value, one that satisfies every demand of God’s perfect law. Jesus has opened the way to the Father’s throne, and through His mediation, the heartfelt prayers of the faithful are brought before God.

"He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." Proverbs 28:13 (KJV). If those who hide and justify their sins could see the triumph Satan feels over their actions, and the grief it brings to Christ and the holy angels, they would rush to confess and abandon their sins. Satan exploits flaws in character, seeking to gain control of the entire being. He knows that if these defects are cherished, his success is assured. Thus, he continuously tries to deceive God’s people with the lie that victory over sin is unattainable. Yet Jesus, showing His wounded hands and body, declares to all who desire to follow Him: "My grace is sufficient for thee" (2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV). He calls to every soul: "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:29-30 KJV).

No one should believe their flaws are beyond healing. God promises the faith and grace needed to overcome. Through Christ, victory is assured for all who place their trust in Him.
