"But in every nation he that feareth Him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with Him." – Acts 10:35 (KJV)

True religion, as taught by Jesus, is not about selfish exclusivity or personal gain. It is about active love, genuine kindness, and doing good for others whenever possible. His life stood as the perfect model of humility—completely free from pride or display. Though He was the Creator of all worlds, He once said of Himself, “The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay His head” (Matthew 8:20, KJV).

Christ, the Majesty of Heaven and King of glory, chose to walk among us in lowliness. In His earthly life, He was patient, gentle, courteous, and overflowing with compassion. He drew close to little children and extended mercy to the tempted, the brokenhearted, and the oppressed. Of His mission, He declared: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord” (Luke 4:18–19, KJV).

Though He came with a mission of mercy, He was without a home of His own. He often endured hunger and thirst. The very people of His nation conspired against Him, driven by envy and hatred. Yet He pressed on—loving, healing, teaching—until He laid down His life in the most shameful of deaths, making a full and complete sacrifice so that no one need perish, but that all might come to repentance.

For every contrite and believing soul, Christ offers Himself as the bearer of sin. In Him, all may find cleansing, forgiveness, and new life. If those who believe in Him live by His words—words that are spirit and life—if they follow His example and shine as lights in the world, they will accomplish what no human philosophy ever could. The teachings of Christ lay the foundation for a faith that removes every barrier between people. In His truth, there are no divisions—no Jew or Gentile, no slave or free—for all are united in a common brotherhood, equal before God as branches of the same Living Vine.

Those who trust in Christ as their personal Savior are no longer separated by race, status, or background. They are one family, joined in heart and mission, shining together in the world as witnesses of His redeeming love.
