“He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.” – Matthew 16:15-16, KJV

To human eyes, Jesus appeared as simply a man—yet He was the perfect Man. In His humanity, He embodied the very character of God. The Father poured His own attributes into His Son: power, wisdom, goodness, purity, truthfulness, spirituality, and love. Though clothed in human flesh, Christ revealed every divine excellence. When His disciples asked, “Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us,” He responded with assurance: “Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father... I and my Father are one.” (John 14:8-9; 10:30, KJV).

This bold unity with the Father was the very reason the religious leaders accused Him. “Thou, being a man, makest thyself God,” they said (John 10:33, KJV), and sought to stone Him. Yet Jesus never retracted His words. He did not deny His divinity or correct their interpretation. He came to reveal God in the flesh—to make visible the invisible, to manifest the character of the Father through human life.

Though He was divine, He was also the most humble of all. In Christ, we see that true greatness is accompanied by deep humility. He showed what humanity can become when united with the divine—what it means to be a partaker of the divine nature. He gave the world a flawless pattern of character and conduct, inviting all to follow in His steps.

Centuries have passed since Jesus walked the earth, but the power of His presence has not faded. His question still echoes: “What think ye of Christ?” (Matthew 22:42, KJV). And the answer, from every sincere heart, remains: He is the Light of the world, the greatest Teacher and spiritual Leader the world has ever known. Those who hear His voice and study His teachings must testify, just as those in ancient times: “Never man spake like this man.” (John 7:46, KJV). “Is not this the Christ?” (John 4:29, KJV).

He is more than a prophet, more than a moral teacher—He is the Son of the living God, our perfect Example, and the revelation of the Father’s heart.
