Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ. (Ephesians 3:8, KJV)

The Word of God contains vast treasures of truth, depths so profound that we could spend a lifetime exploring and still merely begin to uncover their richness. Dig deep into its wells, and draw from the hidden treasures within. There are layers upon layers of wisdom and grace for us to discover. Indeed, it will take all eternity to comprehend the full measure of the riches of God’s glory in Jesus Christ.

Christ invites us: “If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink” (John 7:37, KJV). Have we exhausted this fountain? No, for it is inexhaustible. Whenever we sense our need, we can come and drink again and again. The fountain is ever full, ever flowing. Once we drink from this source, we will not seek to quench our thirst with the fleeting pleasures and empty promises of this world. We will not pursue shallow amusements or distractions, for we will have tasted the living water that brings eternal joy. This joy fills our hearts completely, for Christ dwells within us, the hope of glory.

Jehovah Emmanuel, “in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” and in whom “dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:3, 9, KJV), desires to draw us closer to Him. As our hearts open more and more to receive His attributes, we grow in understanding and intimacy with Him. To know His love, to experience His power, to possess the unsearchable riches of Christ—this is the greatest gift. We are invited to grasp “what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God” (Ephesians 3:18–19, KJV).

This inheritance is for all who serve the Lord. “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17, KJV), for the Lord’s promises are sure. We need not hunger or suffer, for Heaven’s storehouses are open to us, and the key has been placed in our hands. What is this key? It is faith—a gift from God. Unlock the treasures of Heaven, and take freely from its abundant riches. As we exercise faith, the spiritual blessings flow, quenching every thirst and meeting every need.

Come to the fountain. Drink deeply and live.
